NENOTEC PRESSURE MEASUREMENT

Nenotec Pressure gauges

Our pressure gauges (mechanical pressure measuring instruments) for gauge, absolute and differential pressure have been proven millions of times over. For the optimal solution for the widest range of applications, there is a choice of measuring systems in Bourdon tube, diaphragm element and capsule element technologies. The pressure gauges cover scale ranges from 0 … 0.5 mbar to 0 … 6,000 bar and indication accuracies of up to 0.1 %. For the various requirements in industrial and process instrumentation there are pressure elements from copper alloys, stainless steel or special materials available.

Nenotec Pressure sensors

A pressure sensor (or pressure transmitter) converts the physical quantity ‘pressure’ into an industry-standard signal. In addition to a wide range of pressure sensors for general industrial applications, we offer special versions for refrigeration/air conditioning technology, the food industry, mobile working machines, medical gases and also the semiconductor industry. Our pressure sensor portfolio covers accuracies from 0.05 %, measuring ranges from 0.05 bar up to 15,000 bar, digital interfaces such as CANopen and IO-Link and also various international approvals, including for hazardous areas.

Nenotec Contact pressure gauges

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, limit values must be monitored, contact pressure gauges find their application. The switch contacts make or break circuits dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. If the reading is significantly above or below a set value, they trigger an alarm, hence also the term “alarm contact”. Contact pressure gauges are also suitable for starting, stopping or switching processes.

Nenotec Valves and protective devices

Via cocks, shut-off valves, valve manifolds or monoflanges, pressure measuring instruments can be securely separated from the process during commissioning, maintenance or calibration. Protective devices, such as syphons, overload protection and snubbers, increase the service life and extend the application spectrum of pressure measuring instruments. In addition to the extensive selection of instrumentation valves and accessories, Nenotec also offers the qualified assembly of various individual parts to form a complete measuring assembly (“instrument hook-up”).

Nenotec Digital pressure gauge

A digital pressure gauge displays the acting pressure in an integrated digital display. Nenotec offers digital pressure gauges for general industrial applications and also for use in the field of testing and calibration. The indicator cases of our digital pressure gauges are rotatable if required and thus always ensure a good readability. In addition, intrinsically safe versions and instruments with wireless interface are available.

Nenotec Process transmitters

Process transmitters differentiate themselves from pressure sensors through their increased range of functionality: They feature integrated displays, offer high measurement accuracies and freely scalable measuring ranges, communicate via digital bus signals and can be delivered with a multitude of case variants. Through connection to diaphragm seals, Nenotec process transmitters are also suitable for the harshest operating conditions.

Nenotec Pressure gauges with output signal

Pressure gauges with output signal combine the advantages of the analogue indication of a mechanical pressure gauge, needing no external power, with the electrical output signal of a pressure transmitter. These hybrid instruments are available with all commonly used electrical signals. The sensor works in a non-contact way, without any influence on the measuring signal. Many of the instruments can be delivered in accordance with ATEX with an Ex i intrinsically safe ignition protection type.

Nenotec Diaphragm seal systems

In our section “Diaphragm seal systems” you will find a selection of the common combinations of diaphragm seals with pressure measuring instruments. All the diaphragm seal systems presented here feature fast availability and are particularly suitable for demanding measuring tasks in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, food and beverage industries etc.. The complete Nenotec diaphragm seal portfolio can be found in the “Diaphragm seals” section.

NENOTEC TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

Nenotec Dial thermometers

Our dial thermometers work on the bimetal, expansion or gas actuation principle. This enables scale ranges of -200 to +700 °C in different class accuracies, response times and resilience to environmental influences. Diverse connection designs, stem diameters and individual stem lengths enable a flexible measuring location design. Dial thermometers with remote capillaries are particularly versatile. All thermometers are suited for operation in a thermowell if necessary.

Nenotec Thermocouples

Thermocouples are temperature sensors that generate a voltage directly dependent on temperature. Compared to resistance thermometers, they are particularly suited for high temperatures up to 1,700 °C. Instrument designs from mineral-insulated sheathed cable are very resistant against extremely high vibration loads (depending on instrument model, sensor element and wetted materials). The accuracy classes 1 and 2 apply for thermocouples in accordance with IEC 60584 as well as the standard and special classes in accordance with ASTM E230.

Nenotec Temperature transmitters

Temperature transmitters convert the input signal from a wide range of sensors, such as resistance sensors and thermocouples, but in some cases also from potentiometers, into a standardised output signal (e.g. 0 … 10 V or 4 … 20 mA). With digital temperature transmitters, the sensor type and the measuring span can be freely configured, along with many further options such as the error signalisation or a measuring location identification.

Nenotec Temperature controllers

The compact temperature controllers from NENOTEC offer display, control and monitoring of temperatures. The configuration of the sensor input is made via the multi-function input. Resistance thermometers, thermocouples and standard industrial signals, such as 4 … 20 mA, serve as the input variable of a temperature controller. The monitoring output can be set either as relay (for slow control), as logic level for the control of electronic solid-state relays (for fast control and high current loads) or as a continuous 4 … 20 mA output.

Nenotec Digital indicators

Nenotec digital indicators are available in various designs for panel mounting and integrated in the connection head. Some versions feature HART® communication or additional switching outputs.

Nenotec Resistance thermometers

Resistance thermometers are equipped with platinum sensor elements which change their electrical resistance as a function of temperature. In our range of products you will find versions with connected cables as well as versions with connection heads. A temperature transmitter can be installed directly in the connection head. Furthermore, in the Nenotec product portfolio, in addition to threaded resistance thermometers, flanged resistance thermometers or process resistance thermometers, you will also find the right measuring insert for your application.

Nenotec Thermometers with switch contacts

Wherever the process temperature has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, limit values must be monitored, thermometers with switch contacts find their application. The switch contacts make or break the circuit dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. If the reading is significantly above or below a set value, they trigger an alarm, hence also the term “alarm contact”. The instruments are also suitable for starting, stopping or switching processes.

NENOTEC CALIBRATORS

Nenotec Digital pressure gauges - Calibration Equipment

Precision digital pressure gauges are suitable for stationary and also mobile measurement and display of pressures. In addition, a digital pressure gauge can be used as a pressure reference and enables the easy testing, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measuring equipment directly on-site. Through efficient measuring cells with electronic linearisation of the characteristic curve, a high accuracy is achieved.

Nenotec Handhelds, calibrators - Calibration Equipment

Hand-helds are portable calibration instruments for mobile use for the accurate measurement and recording of pressure profiles. There are interchangeable pressure sensors with measuring ranges of up to 8,000 bar available for the instruments. Through this, hand-helds are particularly suitable as test instruments for a large variety of applications in the widest range of industries. Data recorded in the hand-held can be evaluated via PC software. Some instruments document calibrations in the internal memory, which can later be read on a PC. Optionally, a calibration certificate can be generated with our calibration software NENOTEC-CAL.

Nenotec Precision pressure measuring instruments - Calibration Equipment

Precision pressure measuring instruments are electrical measuring systems which convert pressure into an electrical signal and optionally visualise it. Precise pressure transmitters and process transmitters are used for the monitoring and control of particularly sensitive processes. Due to the low, DKD/DAkkS certified measurement uncertainty of down to 0.008 % of the entire measuring chain, the particularly accurate instruments find their primary applications as a factory/working standard for testing and/or calibrating a variety of pressure measuring instruments.

Nenotec Pressure controllers - Calibration Equipment

Pressure controllers are electronic controllers which quickly and automatically provide a pressure based on a supply pressure. Due to the high accuracy and control stability, pressure controllers are especially suitable as references for production lines and laboratories, in order to carry out automatic testing and/or calibration of all types of sensors.

Nenotec Pressure balances - Calibration Equipment

Pressure balances (often also referred to as mechanical dead-weight testers or primary standards) are the most accurate reference instruments for pressure. Their functional principle is based on the physical principle of pressure = force/area. Mass pieces placed on the top of a piston-cylinder system are the source of a precisely defined force. By producing a certain (counter) pressure inside the pressure balance an equilibrium is achieved: the mass pieces, including the free-running piston of the piston-cylinder system, are floating, which will lead to a very accurate pressure at the test port.

Nenotec Portable pressure generation - Calibration Equipment

Test pumps serve as pressure generators for the testing, adjustment and calibration of mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments through comparative measurements. These pressure tests can take place in the laboratory or workshop, or on-site at the measuring location.

Calibration baths - Calibration Equipment

Calibration baths are electronic controllers which automatically, quickly and with the help of a liquid, supply a temperature. Due to the high reliability and exceptional homogeneity in the measuring chamber, calibration baths are particularly suitable as a factory/working standard for the automatic testing and/or calibration of the widest range of temperature probes – independent of diameter. A special micro calibration bath design enables on-site applications.
